A Twist on the French 75: The Mexican 75

fullsizeoutput_25db.jpeg

This twist on the French 75, which was invented by a World War I flying ace, swaps gin for tequila and lemon juice for lime juice. This dainty looking drink is anything but that, and really packs a punch. For this recipe, I put sugar on the rim but you could use salt if you prefer something less sweet. This drink is a perfect replacement for a mimosa at brunch or for spending the day poolside.
