For National Tequila Day: A classic with a twist, Blackberry Mexican Mule

If I am being perfectly honest, over the years, my relationship with tequila has been an on again, off again love affair. Sometime in the near future, I will be regaling you with some of my favorite tequila infused tales from my past. Luckily, we are on speaking terms for this National Tequila Day, and I am ready to celebrate with this incredible spin on one of my favorite drinks, the Moscow Mule. Now, a traditional Moscow Mule is created with vodka, ginger beer, and lime. For the Mexican Mule, you swap the vodka for tequila and add some blackberries for a more complex flavor. When I started looking for tequila cocktails to try for today, and spotted this little gem, I had to try it. It turned out delicious. Do yourself a favor and give it a try too.
