Make Your Own Irish Cream Liqueur for St. Patricks Day

Are you looking for something other than beer to put in your cup this St. Patrick’s Day? There are so many different options of delicious cocktails to choose from. Today we are making one of my favorite Irish Whisky mixes, Irish cream Liqueur. Irish cream is very versatile; you can enjoy it on its own, or mix it up for a delightful Irish cocktail.

Irish cream liqueur is so decadent that it feels luxurious any way you serve it. Our recipe has such a rich and creamy flavor any leprechaun would give you his pot of gold for a glass.

Ingredients

What You'll Need:
  • 1 cup- Irish Whisky
  • 3 tbsp- Chocolate Syrup
  • 1 tsp- Vanilla Extract
  • 1 can- Sweetened Condensed milk
  • 2 cups- Heavy Cream or half and half
  • 1 tsp- instant coffee granules

Instructions

What you'll do:
  1. Add whisky, cream, coffee, condensed milk, vanilla, and chocolate syrup in a blender.
  2. Mix for about 20-30 seconds
  3. Enjoy!
  4. Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 months.

Notes

For a lighter drink, use fat free half and half instead of heavy cream and fat-free condensed milk.
