The Force is Strong with this Recipe for a Baby Yoda (The Child) Cocktail
Happy Star Wars Day, Guys! I remember being a kid and going to the movies with my whole family to see the Empire Strikes Back. Yes, the one with the Ewoks. It was my favorite of the franchise. We all had huge buckets of popcorn, and I curled up in my dad's lap to watch the movie. I think I actually fell asleep for a while during the movie. Still, I remember the excitement and the feeling of the experience fondly.
I give you today's cocktail in honor of the movie that led to that very special memory. I looked around for a while at all of the variations on this Baby Yoda cocktail. Yes, I know that "Baby Yoda" is not the name of the Mandalorian character. However, this is how this now iconic creature, whose real name is Grogu, is best known.
Now that we have that out of the way let's get back to the recipe. I didn't see any recipes that looked particularly appealing to me, so I decided to make my own. If you try this recipe, be sure and let me know what you think.
Note: when garnishing, using toothpicks to help place the blueberries is very helpful. If you don't have any burlap laying around for the robe, you could easily use any piece of brown cloth or a brown napkin from somewhere like Starbucks.
