It’s Wine Slushy Time! Try this Awesome Pinot Freezio Recipe
It is Wine Slushy Time, you guys. The sun is out, and summer is almost here, and I have been waiting to make another batch of delicious wine Slushies. Last year we gave you guys a few recipes like the Very Berry Frose and the Peach Freezling. So to kick this summer season off right, I am showing you how to make another tasty froze wine cocktail, and I am calling this one The Mango Pinot Freezio.
Usually, wine slushies include a few simple ingredients, including wine, frozen fruit, and alcohol. One reason that I love making these types of drinks is how quick and easy they come together and the fact that you can mix and match your wine, fruit, and liquor pairings to make a unique blend with each batch.
For this Pinot Freezio, of course, start with a bottle of your favorite Pinot Grigio poured into an ice tray to freeze. Ice trays help you easily adjust your cocktail from a single serving to a pitcher, depending on your crowd size. Because this wine is less sweet than Moscato or Reisling, we need to add something to sweeten it up. You could do this by using a flavored spirit (typically vodka or rum). Today I wanted to use one of my favorite new vodkas, E.T. 51, by Notaboo. since this one is not flavored, I decided to add triple sec, an orange-flavored liqueur, to up the sweetness factor. While shopping for frozen fruits, I came across a bag of frozen mangoes and thought they would be perfect for this recipe. The result was a perfect tropical flavor explosion. Do yourself a favor, beat this heat, celebrate the start of summer, and make this quick and easy cocktail.
Cheers!!!
